A neighborhood chef has crafted a unique, award-winning recipe—usually concocted with General Mills products–for a great cause.
Nick Shipp, head chef of Santa Monica’s Monica’ scan restaurant Upper West, is the 2019 West Region Winner in General Mills’ NeiMills’ood to Nation Recipe Contest. The contest tasked mom and dad with eating places and filing an original recipe to use General Foods ingredients.
Regional winners of the contest win $5,000 in addition to $1,000 to visit a neighborhood charity simultaneously, while grand prize winners receive $10,000 in coins and $2,000 for charity. Grand Prize winners may even receive a three-day journey for two to the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival this October.
